    Hi,
I would like to get a specific sound for 250 € to 550 € (OK I am in europe but the prices are similar as in the US)

I think of a sound like that of Limp bizkit in Gold Cobra - gnarly, warm sound and like that from Tool a lot of bass but clear high tunes.

My current amp is Hartke HA5000 250 Watt and a 8 Ohm, 400 Watt 4.5 Cab from Hartke

I already have an Yamaha BB424 bass and want the new bass to have more characteristic sound.

Here, my first choices from the internet (I could test the Fender and the Sterling, only in the local shops):
    - Sterling by Musicman ray4 (but ist much more expensive)
    - Warwick RB Streamer standard (419 €)
    - Fender Squire Vint. MOD Jazz NT (325€)
    - Flea Bass - is a very good price (199 €) but does it have the sound I need?

So please help me to choose the bas that is more near to the soudn I want :)

    Many thanks!

Looks like he's playing a Warwick in the video. Warwick amps too. I wouldn't be surprised if he recorded direct though.

    Good luck.
