    The question says it all!

    I'm just curious!

I Know what made my jazz sounds amazing!

But i'm not 100% sure i would buy exactly the same rig.

    What about you?

My favorite with my Carvin B4 was a GK 1001RB-II or Ampeg SVT-CL and Bag End cabs but that's limited to my own experience.

GK 1001RBII head with a GK Neo 212 cabinet has so far been my favorite rig with my jazz basses.

Believe it or not, my Roland DB 700 combo, loaded with a JBL K140 gives me the famous Jazz bass growl the best, very Jaco like on the D and G strings. My second fave is my LDS 212/horn cab with a Carvin BX 1500.

So far, I'd say a Gk-1001 into an Eden 4-10xlt.

I think the amp should just amplify the sound of my bass without much if any color so for me it was more about which Jazz bass made the best Jazz bass sound!

That said I use the Ibanez Promethean P5210 & P5110. Happiest I have ever been with an amplification system.

1967 Ampeg B15N fliptop. Best sound ever in a studio.

On big stages, any great amp into a 410. EBS Hd350 worked for Marcus Miler for 10 years and Tal Wilkenfeld has that modern tone from the same setup.

I wanna say my current Markbass rig of Little Mark III head and dual Traveler 151P cabs. But, it might be my old Trace Eliott GP7-SM 115 combo.

No wait, it's the old Ampeg VR head with 810 at the Blues Shack. Yeah.

I really like it with my Markbass SA450 into a GK Neo 115-III. Also really gets that old school vibe into a new Fender Bassman 100T and Fender Neo 610 cab.

  14. I have been liking my pre fender swr-sm-400 (1991) into my LDS 212 in bridged mode of course, punch, growl and fat goodness :)

Daisy rock practice amp driving a behringer europower EP4000.

With 32 guitar center Acoustic B115's all in series for 256ohms

A 4000 watt Ep4000 into 256 ohms gives you a very warm but loud 62watts.

  19. Mesa Walkabout Scout 12"combo.
Strangely enough it's this li'l combo that's outshone all competitors with my AC jazz 5.
I don't go for a real 'modern' or bright tone, but this is clear, articulate & punchy.
    With a Pbass, I'll go for my Traynor YBA300 & Bergantino NV412 equaled only by an SVT-VR & SVT810
