We already yapped about this...didn't we, 'Chucker?

    I'm just starting out, too.
I really like the Hancock Future2Future DVD.
Garrison, dj disk, & TLC are 'there'.
I really like Joni Mitchell's Shadows & Light DVD(DUH!) & The Woodstock Jazz Festival with Anthony Braxton, Corea, Miroslav Vitous, Metheny & DeJohnette. Both Braxton & Vitous take some baaaaadddddd solos!
I also like the Steps Ahead Live in Europe/Denmark thingee. It's the line-up from '82 or so(Brecker, Mainieri, Elias, Erskine, & Gomez).

Hendrix @Woodstock & Live @The Fillmore are good(especially the latter).

I'm lukewarm on the AWB DVD; good, but...ya know.

The Isle Of Wight concert...pass on it.

And my latest is The Concert For Bangla Desh; I just picked this up last week...I saw it when I was a young teen & wanted to see it NOW that I'm not a young teen. ;)
Anyway, for me, it's hard to believe this was, once upon a time, a theatrical release...it is very much home movie "quality"!
Shankar & his band did kick some ass, though.

    Anecdote time-
When I saw this back in the '70s, there were a total of FOUR people in the theatre(it was a Summer day, we went to a noon showing).
What's funny...for Shakar's set, there was NO SOUND. I eventually figured out/surmised that the projectionist cut the sound 'cause he had heard enough of Shankar, I assume, in the previous showings(?). Putz.
Anyway, once the Rock guys took the stage with "Wah-Wah"...the sound magically came back!

All I have is Victor Wooten Live at Bass Day, on VHS I have Primus' VideoPlasty

and thats it...I have a michael manring performance video, but its less a concert than a bunch of performance segments tied together with him talking.

I think I should expand my players' DVD library,I learned so much just from watching the Vic DVD a couple times.

I'm going to make a DVD copy of Victor Wooten's Super bass solo tech. when I get my new computer.

I have over 200 DVD's (many acquired during a productive year-long stint in China) but not that many concert DVD's.

The one's I have though are:

King Crimson - deja VROOOM (first DVD I ever bought)
The Eagles - Hell Freezes yadda... (came free with my DVD player)
Victor Wooten - Live at Bass Day '98
Flecktones - Live at the Quick
Verve 50th Anniversary Jazz Masters (not too interesting)
    Some BB King dealie-yo (mediocre)

That's all...I needs to get some more but haven't had money in a while.

I'm a huge YES fan too.
I just wanted to let you know that there is a DVD of the Union tour here:
But keep in mind that it is a "Region 2" DVD and is meant for DVD players in Japan. I have a multicode DVD player that plays DVD's from any region. I just wanted to let you know about this since you are a big YES fan.
They also have an ABWH DVD and maybe some others.
