I have about $550.00 canadian to spend on a left handed bass. What advice could you fine people at Talkbass give me in chosing one, preferable bought in Canada. The only bass I have already is a Yamaha BBN5II. I like it, but it's time to add on.
I have an idea on looks and style, but I could use help on function/playability/durability as I come from a small community and any ( equal quality or more) bass I buy, has too be ordered. Thanks folks!

If you're in Canada I'd look into a Godin. I've never played one or seen one in person but I hear that they're nice basses for the money.

You can check out Lakland Skylines, G&L Tributes, Fender MIA. There are several possibilities in that price range. Good luck!
