Who of you has a Reddi? Do you use a effect Pedal in front of the Reddi? Like EBS Valve Drive, Darkglass VMT or something like that?

I would be interesstet in a vintage overdrive.
    Thank you

I use all the same stuff I'd normally use.

You need to be careful with OD/Distortion/Fuzz into a DI because they are going to send the full frequency range out of it which may give you some harsh highs that wouldn't normally be there when using a speaker cab. That's why speaker simulators are becoming all the rage with an IEM setup.

Does it mean you plug your Bass in someone effects like Overdrive/Fuzz/... Then in a speaker Simulator and afterwards in a DI?

I'm not a reddi owner, but this is precisely what I do.

Don't necessarily need a speaker sim. A low-pass filter will do just fine in this situation.

DSM Omnicabsim. Great unit even to use as a DI if you don't need a sim. You won't be disappointed.
