    which fender is better....

the fender deluxe active jass bass or

the fender 60's classic jass bass?

i can't decide between those 2 and was just wanting some input as to which might be better.

If you want more tonal versatility, go with the active jazz.

If you want more vintage vibe, go with the 60's classic jazz.

It is not so much what is better, but rather what is better for you. Tonally speaking. If you already have a bass with active electronics, the 60's might be the way to go. But if you want a more vintage feel with the passive electronics, then go with the 60's. I have an active Jazz, so I would choose the 60's for myself, but that may not be what will work best for you.

What do you want to do with it? What vibe, what tone are you going for? Look there and your answer will appear.

Answer: the fender 60's classic jass bass

If you want active, put a preamp in it.
