well yeah i was wondering if anyone has a GK 1001rb-II with the 410rbh and 115rbh cab setup. how does it sound? i also wanted to know how it compares to having the 1001rb-II matched with a 210rbh and 115rbh cab? which do you prefer? which would you suggest? whats the pros and cons i guess between the two setups?
im in serch of buying an amp and am really leaning to getting the 1001rb-II but im just having trouble deciding on which cabs i should get.

1001RBII with 4x10's and 1x15RBH cabs will sound tremendous!
I originally owned a 400RBIII 1x15 combo, then I got the 1x15RBH cab for a good price new. the 400RBIII didn't have enough power for the 1x15RBH cab so I went with the 1001RB. I went with the 1001RB 2x10 combo to have a rig I could easily transport for smaller gigs (bass and amp in one trip) and the 1x15RBH extention cab for the larger louder stuff. If you have the room (I don't) a strong back (I don't) and a mini van, suv or the equivilent (I don't) then by all means get the 4x10's with the 1x15 RBH cabs to go with the 1001RBII !

Go with the 4x10. The only problem I can see with that is the weight.

I use the 400RB-III with 410RBS and 115RBS cabinets... the old 200 watt ones (400 for the 410) and it sounds greawt.

cool im going to try that our at my local guitar center. i have no problem with room i can store it at our singers garage where we practice. also i drive a mini van plus my singer has a mini van at his disposal as well. strong back, well im not a big guy but i guess thats where the casters come in and my band mates can do the heavy lifting into my mini van for me haha.

but i was curious to know how the 210rbh and the 410rbh compared. is there much of a difference in sound? im most likely going with the 410rbh and 115rbh cause i wont have enough to buy both at once and am just gonna get the 1001rb-II head and 410rbh cab and save the rest up to get that 115rbh.
