Which Hipshot Xtender for a 1997 USA Standard Jazz Bass?

    Hi guys, I’m hoping someone can help?

    I’ve pulled my hair out with Google trying to find out which Hipshot Xtender tuner will directly fit my 1997 USA Standard Jazz Bass? There seems to be no clear information about my bass on the Hipshot website that I can tell.

    Can anyone tell me, or is there no such Xtender tuner available?

    Go here and find the one that matches your current tuners; if none of them match go to the bottom of the page there is contact information there. Bass Xtenders
    A last ditch effort you can try is contacting them and attempt a custom detuner from a tuning machine that you provide (unless you have a spare machine, that will take your bass out of action for awhile if they will even do that for you.)

    I can see it, but he doesn't say if the MIA Standard is his '97 Jazz or not; so I didn't mention that the BT4 is a match, but is discontinued.

    I only see a hairy arm and the G, D, and part of the A machines, the rest is cut off and not in the photo.

    Yea BT4 is discontinued. Others have mentioned that the BT8 may fit. I’m looking for one that is a direct replacement, ie screw holes and ferrule etc.
