Which of these pickups would be more versatile in a MIA P-bass with Raven Labs P-retrofit onboard preamp? Basslines QPB-3 or Bartolini 8CBP?

I just like to say that I'm very, very happy with my new SPB-2 (Basslines Hot for P, in between SPB-1 which is the Vintage and SPB-3 which is the Quarter Pounder). Very midrange, very big bottom.

Note that there's a rather extensive pickup review section on The Bass Gear Review Archive and in www.Harmony-Central.com 's bass section, where you will undoubtably find reviews on both pickups there.

I totally agree with Govithoy, the SPB-2 is the best p-bass pickup I have ever used. SPB-3 is a very overrated pickup, and the barts are too sterile...
