  1. in your opinions which is worse

a good idea executed poorly or a bad idea executed brilliantly?

sort of a silly question but you can apply it anyway you want to prove your point.

I would have to say a good idea executed poorly would be worse, why? 1) If a good idea is executed poorly, it gives the impression that the idea may have been a bad one anyway, and is not very effective. 2) If the idea was executed poorly, it means either someone didn't really understand the idea, or they were just plain lazy-either way it still makes the idea seem bad. 3) If anything is worth doing, it is worth doing well. Although the "bad" idea may not be as good, effective, whatever, as the "good" idea, its brilliant execution may still serve the purpose of the cause, and in some cases be more effective than the poorly executed idea. 4) A good idea executed poorly is a big let-down in the general sense. One may be ex[ecting more from the good idea and get much less when the execution flops. On the other hand, no one expects much from a bad idea, and if it is executed extremely well, it will exceeed the expectation of said peron(s), and there fore be do what it was degined to do better than the good idea. ...phew...
However, you can still say no matter how well you execute a bad idea, it will still be a bad idea and can't be better than a good idea, and vice-versa, in which case you can throw everythign i said previously out the window.

    Whats worse here?

Someone who TRYS really hard to fit in, or
    Someone that doesnt care?
  9. Johnathon Davis happens to be quite a good singer in my opinion, and despite the general belief on this board, Fieldy isn't a terrible bass player. He keeps time and rhythm, and his music suits Korn very well. Isn't that the basic reason of playing bass? Keeping a rhythm or melody going, and making it fit the music.
