Which major manufacturers make Jazz Style Basses?

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by rodoherty1, Jul 26, 2004.

  1. Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a reasonable quality Jazz style Bass (shopping in Europe).

Ideally, I would like a Candy Apple Red Lakland Daryl Jones but colour this has been discontinued so my search goes on.

So, who else makes such a bass? (Again, preferably a make that is available in Europe).

    Fender
    Lakland
    Celinder (too expensive)
    Sadowsky (too expensive)
    Who else?

I realise this thread has probably been done before; I did a search but couldn't find a link. Bring on the flames if I'm covering truely ancient territory.

    Thanks,

    Rob.

The more appropriate question is, who doesn't?

I see that Blade Guitars is now offering jazz basses.
