Which nut for 1 3/4" Warmoth 5 neck?

  1. I'm ordering a neck tomorrow, 1 3/4" wide at the nut. What nut would you choose? I thought I heard somewhere that Warmoth would make one for me out of corian or tusq or one of those newer materials for $30 or so, is that true?

My dream nut would be the adjustable ones that Warwick uses, anyone know where to get one of those?

I've had Warmoth install their own nut on several necks with excellent results.

White corian is available for $25 installed.

  4. Sweet, thanks! It's a different design than my 1995 Warwick but looks pretty good. More importantly you found the bridge that I've been wanting! I'd given up on being able to buy a Warwick bridge. Thanks!

    warwick nuts are adjustable?

  6. Yep... looks like the new design is different than the old one - they used to be adjustable for individual string heights - each string rode in sort of a threaded screw and you could raise or lower it by loosening or tightening the screw. Now it appears the whole nut rides on two screws so you can raise or lower the whole nut or each side individually, without even taking off the strings. It's very cool.
