Which of these are good for active basses?

sean_w_mcgrath does this forum name make me look fat?

So I am looking at getting a new distortion/overdrive/fuzz unit (I currently have the Sansamp BDDI and Boss ODB-3) and was wondering which of the following sound good with active basses (unlike the Wooly Mammoth). Right now I pretty much have my BDDI on all the time, and ODB-3 isn't quite the sound I am looking for. And just for the record....I play in a Classic Rock meets Modern Rock band.

Here are the pedals I am considering (if you happen to know whether they are true bypass...that would help as well):

    Fulltone Bass Drive
    Black Cat Octave Fuzz
    PE Depth Charge
    DOD 250
    MXR M-80
    Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive

Unfortunately I live in a small town and am unable to try these out first hand....so I can only rely on the opinions of others. Thanks.

Believe it or not, I like the Ibanez Phat-Hed better than all of those you mention, and I only use active basses.

I liked the DOD very much with my active Stingray.

Other than that, listen to davidmwilson. He's a cat who knows his stuff.
