The Drome 12 is a fabulous little combo. I had never heard of EBS when I stumbled across one in a shop in France, years ago, looking for a small combo, and I was blown away by the quality and the huge sound for the small package. I bought it for practice/rehearsal, but I've gigged small clubs with it, doing hard rock covers backing dual guitarists w. 60W Marshalls, without any reinforcement. If this is one of the orignal Drome 12's, with all the rear panel options (XLR out, serial/parallel effects, tuner out, stereo audio in), grab it! Best practice/rehearsal/small-gig bass combo I've ever tried. I've never played a Gorm, but it's basically an HD350 housed with 2x10s, which should make for an excellent combo, but it's a lot bulkier than the Drome, which is an easy one-handed carry.
