Cleve - You have to include GB in an amp discussion. I am extremely satisfied with the Shuttle series and their customer service in unbeatable. I was able to get info for my 10 year old cabs from a few Genz Benz guys that regularly contribute here.

I've only had it for a few weeks, but I absolutely love my DB-750, that was clearly my choice, but I don't think you can go wrong with any of those amps.

All your choices are very good. But I also would look into GB.

I like punchy vintage style sound. I'm not a slapper.

I would agree, but I need to keep it under $1800.00 and right now I can get any one of those three for that or much less.

Big fan of the Mesa Titan and the 400+, but if I were gonna put that money down new I think I'd get a GBE 1200.

  18. I voted Aguilar because you asked for a snap decision, and Mesa bass amps have never really turned me on. YMMV
