which one

  1. Rickenbacker 4003, or warwick corvette or thumb.... i'm getting one of those but i just wanted some more peoples opinion on this hard hard hard choice i'm soon going to have to make. i'm a 4 stringer, more rock playing but down for anything, and lightest bass. thanks

    The Ric and Warwick are completely different monsters. One's a 33 1/4" scale passive neck thru with a vintage tone, ahiwle the Warwicks tend to be more modern, 34" scale (maybe longer) and come in both bolt on, neck thru and set neck varieties I believe.

    My Vette is 9-10lbs, not exactly light. I have only played one Rick and I am pretty sure it was lighter than the Vette.
