im 15 and am wanting to add some effects to my setup which is an ashdown mag200 and marshall extension cab, with an aria igb40 bass.Im now abit short on cash so im thinking of getting the new behringer products,

i cant decide between getting 3 or 4 of the behringer stomp boxs,

    or the bass v-amp prorackmount

I believe the virtulizer is designed around line-level input.

I'm not familiar with your head, but unless you have either an effects loop or a pre-amp out/power-amp in set-up, your results with it will be less than savory.

The V-amp is a pre-amp/modeler. It's designed to go into either a PA or a power-amp. Do a search on it here at TB, as there have been several (hundred) threads of how people have used it, what they like, and what they dislike.

Also, check out some of the Electro Harmonix stuff. Some of their pedals are not too expensive, and sound pretty good! They are more expensive than the Behringer stuff, but they sound great on Bass.

yes i have an effects loop, and also the "virtualiser" says it has the various effects im looking for.

  4. well, i think if you have to get one of the three, i'd say the virtualizer. All behringer politics aside, i am not a fan of their durability and sound quality. but if you don't want to save your money for some awesome sound effects, i'd go with the virtualizer...

Get the MIDI Foot controller, as well.

That way you can set-up presets and change them on the fly while you are playing.
