Which one???

  1. Okay, Im soon going to be able to afford a "new" bass to add to my crappy arsonal... Where I'm wanting to go with my playing is next to learn slap style playing. Thumping, plucking, and maybe some tapping. My question is which basses should I look into? Right now the first thing that pops into my head is Music Man Stingray... But I've got my eyes set on a Warwick Corvette standard and a Spector Rebop... Are these two accomodable(real word?) for beginning slappers??? What makes the Stingray so favorable by players like Flea(the older RHCP stuff) who slap the crap out of a bass so bad that they can actually see the carpal tunnel monster heading their way!?

Hoping to find the light... And slap it down with a funky groove tought to me by Larry Graham!

Will these two basses accomodate the novice bass player.... :D

Definitely! Regarding the SR, it's the tone.

Stingray!!!! Though some people find its string spacing too narrow for slaping. Try ´em all before you take your decision.
