I've been looking to upgrade my fretless bass for a while now. So far I have been looking at a warwick vette and a Rick. I play mostly jazz and gospel with my fretless and use eden amps. I know I need to try them out but both are atleast 2 hours away and in different directions. I really want to know about what is important. Quality, playability, and sound. Any help is greatly appreciated. :bassist:
  2. The Warwick Corvette is by far one of the best fretless basses on the market today, and I think alot of people here at TB will agree. I've played two (4 and 5) and I absolutely loved the thing. Plays like a wet dream come true, not a tone I couldn't find (except a nice slap tone, lol.) I highly reccomend this bass, plays a beautiful as it looks. Just wish I had the finds to afford one.
