    So I'm looking at getting a new bass, I played on the spector and schecter. and a lower model 4 string Ibanez BTB

    The spector felt really nice to play sitting down and felt really good.

    The schecter sounded better and had a better neck.

    The BTB had a really thin neck although it was only a 4 string, but it was a smaller neck then the other 4 strings


    Which one is the best?

    I have a C-4

    awesome bass for the price, I would trust the C-5 to be just as solid. I have no regrets at all about my C-4, even though I play a MIA fender 5 string now.

    I believe that the Spector Legend Custom is a really good bass for the money.
    I'd suggest that.

    yeah well ive played on the C-5 and I played on a spector the same price as the Legend custom, just with J and MM pups.

    I dont know which one I like more

    I have loved every Ibanez I have played. I'm almost 100% certain that I could any Ibanez bass having not played it and I'd fall in love with it. Spector is good too but I find the tone to be a little "thin" for my liking. Schecter is also very good, solid basses, but Ibanez beats them in bang for the buck ratio, IMHO.

    yeah, well soon I will venture into the music stores in my city.

    I cant wait to get rid of my dean, now the input jack is broken. still dont have the propper case for it.

    I'm leaning towards the spector though, they look so good!
