Which Pickguard For My Stingray

    Hey guys,

    So I'm getting alittle bored of my all black Stingray, and figured why not change the pickguard. Just now I have the plain black. I thought about maybe a clear one ? anyone have any pics of a clear on black stingray ?

    What else would you suggest please no white.

    Wouldn't a clear one still give you an all black Stingray?:confused:

    black pearloid, tort or mirror!:bassist:

    I have black pearloid but am considering a mirror if I can find one.

    lol yea I realised after I posted the stupidity of it....thought it may look cooler than a black pickguard.

    Black pearloid. It's actually more gray than black. My son used to have one on his black SR. Looked much better than the stock white. I don't have any pics of it though. He no longer has it.

    I personally love the look of tortoise shell on black. My next choice would be abalone.

    I would keep the black rather than go to a clear one. At least with the black, you have the white "trim" of the 3-ply guard.
