  1. hey,
i want to have something that is portable so i can take with me when i go practise. i play mostly jazz and wanted something that could i could program real book/ fake book songs into and maybe loop sections. also wanted the drums side of things to be able to handle odd time signatures. any ideas? QY70? QY100? QY10? also head stuff about Kawai GB-2 and GB-4 phrase trainers. ??? any help much appreciated

I use the QY70 and it can do all the things that you want to do in addtion to more. The only downside of the QY70 is that it has seamless looping for patterns but not for songs. The songs hiccup when they loop around to the first measure, though the patterns loop seamlessly. The patterns, unfortunately are limited to 8 measures, which means you have to get a little creative to make a 32 bar pattern that loops seamlessly.
