Hey, im looking for the best weight to watt ratio on a power amp. so far here is what im looking at:

QSC PLX the least expensive one.
    QSC RMX1450
    Crown XLS402a

im looking to spend around 300 bucks used on ebay, or private. Some people are saying that the QSC PLX is a really great amp but it costs the most. The QSC RMX1450 cost less but weights almost twice as much, big downer. The crown XLS402 seems to be a good amp but people say you need to make a cable to bridge the thing. thats kinda weird.

i also want to know if i can run one side of the amp? like could i one out put from the stereo side, or would that make something exlpode?

the crown was said to not like running at 4 ohms...is that true? i want to work the power amp with an ampeg pre, and a avatar 2x10 for now and get a 2x12 later on.

    any suggestions would be great!

Bite the bullet ... PLX. Sacrifice and get the 1602, at least.
