Should I get the Morley bass wah or the Crybaby 105Q?
No comparison (at least with my rig) the 105Q retained a lot more of the Bass sound and delivered a a more wah like wah sound. I really thought the Morley was bad, in fact I asked the counter guy if it was broken, he said it was supposed to sound like that. Maybe it would sound better through other people's equipment?
A friend of mine owns a Morley bass wah. It's a little weak to my ears, not the roaring "mwWHAAAO" I'm used to hear from guitarists' wahs, more like "mmwwuuoh". I haven't tried the Dunlop so I don't know if it's better or not.
Go with the Dunlop 105Q. It maintains the bass and gives you the variable Q control. It sounds great with bass.
yeah, I was leaning toward a Crybaby 105Q
