    or

    EMG45P & VMC+Treble-cut Tone

The bass is still in the planning stages.

Body of Blackwood, Mahogany or Lacewood.

Deep-cutaway bolt-on construction, similar to Curbow XT-33, but with more substantial lower body and 30 frets.

Maple neck, rosewood fingerboard. 18.5mm spacing at the bridge (either ABM or Hipshot "A" style).

Does anybody have experience with the above pickups, and will the EMG combination even work that way?

Any advice against running just that single EMG45P in a slightly bridgeward position from a standard Musicman pickup?

I already have a Jazz with 40DC pickups and want something a little less glassy and more Jimmy Haslip-ish.

    Comments appreciated!
