Which Sterling by MusicMan bass would be better?

    This is going to be my first five string and I chose the sterling because I like the sound, feel, and look.

    Should I get the single Humbucker or double Humbucker? I’ve played the single Humbucker in store and liked it but the double Humbucker is a new model.

    If I was looking for a Music Man type bass, I'd buy this without thinking about any others.
    I was seriously considering the 4-string model but I found something I like better.
    Still, might grab one this summer.

    Yes. The Transparent Black Satin just came out a month or two ago. The Amber one looks even better in real life.
    I've spent too much money on basses so I won't be buying a Music Man.
    I had a Ray 34 a few years ago, though, nice bass, and that I can afford.

    At first I would have said you're loony because SBMM does not make a double humbucker bass but alas I am wrong and this is good to see.

    My main bass is a EBMM 4HH. I have not looked back, single humbucker purists be damned. ;-)
