Which strings have a "dry" sound?

My Roscoe bass has a very predominant midrange, and most strings I've tried just add to this tone. I prefer a crisper hi-fi tone, and am looking for some strings that will help with this.

  2. Try the Thomastik-Infield Power Bass Series, they have a more full bodied sound, IMHO.

Stainless Steel rounds... I prefer D'addario Prism but SIT, Smith and DR Stainless rounds are pretty happening too.
