Which subwoofer to pair with my pioneer cs-99a speakers?

Hey guys

I got handed some vintage pioneer cs-99a speakers fully intact and I'd like a subwoofer to go with it. My receiver is only set up for 2.1 sound and that's fine with me. I mostly watch tv and some movies and occasionally listen to music in that room. Looking for something under $500
