    I play classic rock music.
My gear is a RIC 4003, EBS CL450,Ampeg HLF 410 Heritage bass cab.
Now I want to add a tube preamp to make my sound warmer and more rich.
    Do you have any suggestion?
    I'm thinking about
    Avalon U5
    SWR Grand Prix
    BBE Bmax-T
So, what do you think about these 3 preamps?

Have you considered the EBS valvedrive? Great preamp to put in front of your signal chain.

Given you have a stereo ouput on your Ric, you might want to consider an Alembic F-2B. You can isolate each pickup to a separate channel, then mix together in mono or keep separate to run into separate amps. Classic passive tone stack on each channel.

If you want a mono tube preamp only, an Alembic F-1X is another quality preamp.

+1 EBS Valve Drive is just what you're looking for.

Well, the Avalon has zero tubes in it, and sounds absolutely nothing like a tube preamp. :)
