I wish no teams would show up. The city of Detroit is trying to put on some kind of a$$ kissing show for the world and it's annoying. Painting up abandoned buildings downtown, replaceing boards with actual windows, putting up temporary "Future development" signs, tearing down the historic Mo-Town bulding for a measly 30 extra parking places for the big game.

Why not put all this money towards the actual people who LIVE in the city?

Your city will benefit from the money the SB generates. Maybe not how you think it should be spent, but it will. What you need to do is figure out a way to be a part of it. Find something to sell, and set up shop on a street corner near the stadium and hotels during the week leading up the game.

    Hahaha what hotels?

You are right the city will probably benefit from the big game. But once it's all over the downward spiral will start once again. I guess downtown needed a temporary makeover.

  17. And to think I left my magic 8-ball at work today. DARNIT!!! :smug:

Oh well, based on that, I'm gonna go with my predictions....

Seahawks/Steelers wtih Pittsburgh taking the win, if for no other reason than a ring for Jerome Bettis in his (most likely) last year!!! I am NOT a Patriots fan at ALL (hate them, in fact), but I feel They LOST the Broncos game instead of the Broncos WINNING the game.

Besides, I feel the AFC stomps the NFC's cookies this year.

With that, I'd like to close with...

    GO STEELERS!!!!!!

  18. No credit for the Broncos as usual....oh well, well see when the Broncos stomp Pittsburgh.

Broncos vs. Panthers this year. With Bronco victory

  19. No no no, I never said that. I like the Broncos. Been a fan since the Terrell Davis days.

The Bronvos played well, no doubt. What I did say, however, was that they did not win the game to the same lavel as The Pats gave up the game.... Interceptions, fumbles, and all-around poor play on alot of levels.

    Would you disagree with that?

  20. No , I will say that the Defense played a million times better than the offense did though. Part of the turnovers came from pressure, intimidation and full attack by that tight Denver Defense.
