oh, man! Jeff-Thanks! you are the wrong guy to try to impress with basses!! its not heavy at all, very comfortable and can take a lot of digging in - the harder you dig, the more she growls - very cool NY vibe sound to it- but hey, you got the NY vibe all over with those fantastic Sadowskys!!!

I have two Emperor 5 strings and just put a
down payment on number 3 at Gguitars. It has
a beautiful Spalted maple top. Sorry I am unable to post a pic... it says the file is to big. I have posted pix in the past....oh well.
Mine and others are posted on the Yahoo Fodera group site if you care to check them out.

Anybody else notice that two of the basses from Bunnybass are on the new Fodera website? Pretty cool. Too bad the website is still "under construction" :)

Personally, I dig the Lincoln Goines model. Straightforward and mmm... Koa... I'll take mine with a birdseye maple board and six strings please!

i heard that bass last week!! very nice- i prefer the onboard electronics , though, and i like to get tonal variety by using pickup panning as well- Link is great!! and a cool guy

Adrain, the bass pictured is a Linc model with two pickups and the pope pre! Absolutey sweet, huh? I prefer the body style to all other foderas, save the AJ single cut.

    The coolest.

its early and my brain is dead- you are absolutely correct!! - Link played a single pup with no tone controls- he did tell me there was a preamp inside- it was just set to an eq preset-- i should wake up before i gett in the car, i guess-- sorry!!- peace, Adrian
PS- i kinda dig that Mike Pope pre- i keep saying its very New York sounding..
