Which of these are your favorite?
On behalf of me and Munji,
No mention of Aguilar...for shame for shame.
Aguilar has a tone that's somewhat of an Ampeg/Eden hybrid. More full rangy and balanced than Ampeg, but warmer, more organic sounding than Eden stuff.
I recently discovered Aguilar myself, but it didn't take long for them to make a believer out of me though.
Aguilar ( although i don't have the money to get an aguilar rig)
I voted for SWR, because they seem to have the best amps out there. Edens have great cabs, but when you are talking Amps, I have never been very impressed with the Eden sound. It just seems very , bleh. SWR's just seem to have a really warm sounding tone, that really brings out the sound of the bass.
EBS. Plain and simple!
Glockenklang builds the best solid-state amps. Period.
i think the best amps are ... found in about 10 threads/polls, exactly like this one
oh, and aguilar amps smoke all those others, no contest.
I buy a consonant...
I'm ready to solve the puzzle
Close this thread!!!
Mesa(older stuff)...HIGHLY biased here. I have yet to hear a 400+ in action, but I hear they are magnificent.
Although their new stuff...idk.
I have an AMEG! (kidding, but really, what is an ameg?)
In all seriousness, I second JT.
I will have to say Aguilar. I have never heard an amp that is as warm and smooth yet has such incredible articulation as the Aguilar does. That is why I bought one. It is one of the best sounding, and most versatile amps out there
I voted for Hartke
(because this is the amp I have, and the one I trust)
Now you can close the thread...
I'm not sure yet.
Getting close though.
There's plenty of votes out there for this thread to be closed.
