Who has the biggest board on TB? If this has been done before you can cyber smack me.
Justin Medal Johnson for the win.
My effects processor has 40 pre-sets + 40 programable for a total of 80. Does that count?
that coming from someone who spends the majority of his time in the basses and amp threads. you're hilarious.
JMJ does not count. i mean among us....the TB'ers. and well i just want to see big boards.....it's not about bragging rights. i want to see some pedaltrain pro's!
You mean the person with the most GAS who has the largest bank account?
kevteop: i give you props hahahahhahahahahha
but really guys!
if i had a board i would win
but all my pedals are on the floor... so i am out of this competition
Pedal Train Pro's don't cut it. I want to see 40"x18" Trailer Trash...
Are we talking about board area here? Or wheight? Or $ value?
Or amount of elbow grease invested?
Here's the other:
I'm guessing you don't play blues or punk rock.
How's that combo of V-Bass and GR-20 working out?
And what do you use it for?
He didn't ask for cool boards, we want to see the BIG ONES!
Tayste's old board would've been a contender but I think he's stripped it all down. Fightthepower's is quite impressive, it's Moog/filter/synth central.
Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Justin Chancellor has a big board, right? Let's talk about it.
^I can't believe no one said that yet.
FTP's board is hella! Chronicle has a buetteload of pedals on his...I guess we need to find the largest homemade board...b/c someone's gotta have a massive one on here that larger than a pedaltrainzzzz
My aluminum board is 1m wide by 0.5m deep. Biggest yet in this thread, innit?
C'thulhu, the combo works very well indeed. I run the V-Bass into the aux inputs of the GR-20 and from there to my bass rig. The V-Bass does 98% of my bass sounds, and the GR-20 does 86% (roughly) of the synth sounds. Including trombone and harmonica. Tracking is perfect on the V-Bass (of course) and good enough on the GR-20.
These two will be replaced by a VB-99 though. Smaller and (in many ways) better. So the pedalboard is obsolete.
Yeah I own 2 PT jr's and a PT mini now, all are full with about 15 pedals sat on a shelf at home as well.
at last shot, rustynuts.....just wow
My homemade board is 40 x 18. Not sure if that's bigger than the PT pro or not.
Of course the lineup is completely different now, but this was what I was using last fall:
Glad you appreciate the good will intended. Even though I don't use effects too much (the occasional chorus or flange) I do like to pop in now and again to see what you guys are up to.
You effects guys (& gals) have always struck me as "rouge gunslinger types", always on the cutting edge, always pushing the envelope and finding a way to make it work. The mind set seems brutally tenacious to me and I admire it.
Well played, sir.
