I used to own a lot of Rickenbackers and a few 4 string basses .
I'm planning to take a group photo when my 2 new basses arrive. They're due sometime around the end of May. (An FBass VF6-PJ Fretless and a Fodera Emperor Standard 6, so they're worth waiting for.)
I've always enjoyed the posts of @john turner with all his awesome ERBs.

There are the worst German $$'s to have left the factory.
Neither had shielding paint.
One had a volume pot with pins no soldered off so weird stuff wouldn't work.
Red one has a control cavity and bridge pickup routed so close the wall btw them is basically a sliver of wood and layers of copper tape.
I finally got around to pulling them apart to work on them some more bc I'm sick of looking at the gigbags they live in behind my desk.
For what they MSRP for, ridic.
I have 4 Skjold Drakkars all made within like 18 months of one another...
From left to right: 6 string fretted Catacomb, 5 string Fretless Caracomb, 5 string fretted catacomb, 5 string fretted solidbody.
Are those Warwicks or knockoffs?
They're both German Warwick $$'s.
Obviously I got 2 made on a Friday or something from their original owners cheap for a reason.
I'll do my J's next, that's a happier story.
