Who is going to NAMM??

I got my badge today from SIT strings.

I'm going....courtesy of a well-respected bass luthier.....guess that it helped that I bought a bass from him a year ago! Seriously though, I won't know anyone, so it would be nice to meet up with some folks from here.

 

I had to sub-out a gig to go on Saturday (for the day), and will come back Sunday to play an afternoon Hooters and Hogs biker gig in Conyers... But If I get another call to play anytime during that weekend, I'll cancel my NAMM plans.

Bills, G.A.S. and gadgets might keep me from going to NAMM, or might be the reason I sub-out to attend!

 

Yeah, me too!

Maybe we could have plans to procure a booth and deck it out with couches, amp-installed coffee tables... ya know pimp it out a bit with a lounge feel... Granted not for this summer NAMM, but plans for it in Anaheim or Nash-vegas '04 would be cool. Could use it to attract new members. Who knows!



*p.s. ya know, I never got back to you about the p/g, I'm still thinking about it and a little lazy to pull the p/g off or too busy using it to pull the p/g off.

 

if i can clear it with her pregnancy, maybe we can have a mini gathering at my place. i can also prolly procure us a place with a couple of big tables and some strong drinks.

'guess I'm not going... I ended up getting a funk/jazz gig (7/19) at the Apache Cafe with players I really need to start playing with more often.

 

looks like i am back in business. i will ikely be there all 3 days. lets organize some sort of get together at my place. mel will be working anyway.

seriously, i live in an apt, so i just need to know how many and what you guys want to eat and drink. probably wouldnt be a bad idea for the drinkers to bring what they need. also if any guys need cartage from the airport let me know. pm me for my phone number.
