Who, in your opinion, is the most prevalent, recognizable member on Talkbass?
The first people that come to mind are @JRA @Dr. Cheese and @JimmyM
Ill be making a poll to see what the TB community thinks, then maybe we can declare who is the most “famous” person here in the TB community.

For more clarification, who do you see the most here on TB? Who would you be happy to have reply to your thread? Or even who has the most recognized avatar?

Additionally, I chose the people for the poll choices based on the first people that popped into my head when I think of Talkbass, which is based on who I recognize and see the most.

Tagged are the people mentioned in the poll that weren't mentioned above

  5. A GED Horse is the only member I've heard mentioned outside of TB. The dude at Sam Ash mentions him once in awhile when we're discussing bass cabinets or amps.

You're talking about normal folk members because there are some pseudo celebrities here.
I vote for @BassCliff . His adventures are awesome!

I’m not famous, I need to get a life.

Probably Mike Watt. But there are other members here who have fairly high levels of visibility in the real world. Hint: TB is not the real world.

Yes, Mike Watt, Justin Meldal-Johnsen and Jeff Berlin (before the first two meltdowns anyways). Doesn’t Lee Sklar check in here?

The rest of us are legends in our own minds.

I dunno. I follow Lee on FB but don't recall ever seeing him here. Maybe I just didn't see those posts. Jeff Berlin probably doesn't check in much anymore, for obvious reasons.

One of my most gratifying TB moments was when @BassCliff took the time to listen to all three songs on a band demo that I posted a few years back and posted comments on each one.
