Discussion in 'General Instruction [BG]' started by faulknersj, Jan 17, 2014.

  1. Just curious if there is a guy that is well known around these parts...kind of a Jimmy M of the GI forum?
  2. JimmyM frequents these parts as well... I'd say him

groove master and stick player cross swords regularly on here and often get threads closed.
  5. Ha ha! Ok...so there isn't a theory guru that has separated himself from the other frequenters of these parts?

Malcom Amos does a great job of laying out basic concepts in an clear and articulate fashion. But there's not really any one person that's as ubiqutious as Jimmy M. Rather a group of people who offer frequent and useful help.

A big +1 for Malcolm Amos' and JimmyM's contributions.

At the same time, whenever the two guys quoted above, are involved in a thread, I always make sure to read their very informative and helpful posts. JTE, you have not been around as often as you used to. Always good to hear from you. ;)

Personally, I owe a lot of my bass/musical knowledge to the good people here on TB, for which I am very grateful. :)
