Erm, that's not Stuart Zender matey - it's my mate Paul Turner!!!! Here's a great clip of him live with Jamiroquai using his Alleva Coppolo bass http://www.capitalradiogroup.com/content/cgi-bin/intel/onair_jamiroquai.html
Oh does he use Alleva Coppolo basses? Is that the bass he's using in the video I posted? I LOVE his tone.
how about a little gritty & greasy P bass... http://youtube.com/watch?v=SmmD53vMyJU This line up is my favorite Jay has had behind him
At the very end of the video, you can see the back of the headstock - looks like one of his vintage Fenders to me. Alleva-Coppolo headstocks are much uglier.
Paul uses his Coppolo in the Intel gig link I posted. In the first Youtube clip it's his all original 1966 Fender Jazz with dot & bound neck - matching headstock. And yes, his tone is wonderful!
This a great video, I've been watching it for weeks now, what a great bassline. It's rare that I don't play this when I practice and I use it as a warm up for rehearsals (well at least my attempt at it) and it draws the question from other guys in the band "what is that?". Paul Turner is awesome!
