Something in me fantasize about that bouncer dying a horrible slow and painful death.

He deserves it for making the world a worse place.

Just looked it up seems he was named Luc Havan and was sentenced to twenty-two months in prison and five years' probation by a charge of second-degree murder.

But he only served 4 months of that sentence.

The name of the venue was Midnight Bottle Club.

Are you talking about Third Stone From The Sun? Jaco played that in solos. There's a lot of different pieces in the background music, though.

That piece is the Chromatic Fantasy by J.S. Bach. It was originally recorded on Word of Mouth.

I knew it was Bach but I'm sketchy on classical titles. :) Thanks.

That video was pretty good, but if you want a fuller picture check out "Jaco," the documentary that Robert Trujillo produced. I think it's available on Netflix.

Yes, that bouncer caused his death but if it hadn't been him it probably would have been something or someone else. Jaco was at the very bottom, unfortunately.

  18. Yeah, he was by all accounts really out of it mentally while trying to sit in with people he didn’t know while proclaiming his “best in the world” routine. He really needed hospitalization at that point, but people fall through the cracks.

In a few places I thought I heard segments from Bach's “Little” Fugue in G-minor.

It was the club owner protecting his asset, and the band that night, and he was skilled in martial arts. Jaco shouldnta F'd with him, but here we are, sadly.

Not saying it's right or fair. But what Jaco was doing that evening was definitely O.U.T. out.
