Who knows where I can find a J-Retro 01

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Dave44, Mar 27, 2003.

  1. I'm looking for an item I found on the net. The J-Retro 01 is an active-passive preamp system that is built exclusively for a Jazz Bass. It just drops right down into the original routered hole no mess no fuss. Does anyone know if there is a North American distributor?

Steve Barr, over at Vintage Bass Trading, is the NA distributor.

Head over to his Dude Pit forum for details/prices etc.

  4. FYI: I would post any threads on the J-retro in Misc. Not effects, since it colors the tone, and doesn't shape it completly

Yep, check out the Dudepit. Steve is pretty quick to respond. The manufacturer, John East, will also respond to any questions very quickly as well.

I have one in my Skyline JO 5. It's a great preamp and will enhance the tone capability of a bass very nicely!
