Who loves their vintage J basses?

  1. Here are a couple of my '75. Could be a little cleaner, but hey- it gets played, right? I have the covers, too. Just stored away...

  3. Nice bass, toman. Thanks for sharing it. I love the look and feel of a '70s Jazz neck. One day I'd like to own a '75 Jazz, as it's the year of my birth. Does that mean I'm vintage?

Your Rhodes is pretty sweet as well.

  4. Hah. I don't know that the 70s basses really qualify as vintage, but I figure if it's old enough to have been reissued it's old enough for me. But yeah, I too love those basses; suck a funky feel and sound.

Not only do I love your vintage J bass, I'm fond of the Fender Rhodes as well. I'm not a keyboard player, but aside from the venerable Hammond B-3, the Rhodes is my favorite vintage keyboard sound. :D
