I have discovered that I am more comfortable on a 34" scale bass. My Yamaha BB605 is a 34" scale bass. I think MM Stingray's are as well. Who else makes a 34" scale 5 string?

Matt Pulcinella and (as was noted) almost all small builders will do it. My older Hamer and Jackson 5'ers are 34".

Wow. I didn't realize that many builders did. All you read about is 35" scale 5's. Of course, many of those are pretty expensive, too.

I don't want to spend a bunch, I am just looking for a backup/2nd bass to go with my Yamaha. I have about $700 into my Yamaha and it's a great bass. I don't want to go crazy on a backup/alternate bass.
