Who makes hollowbody basses??

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by BASSBOOST, Aug 3, 2005.

  1. I was wondering what companies make hollowbody basses??I know Ibanez makes one and Gretsch makes a few, but what other companies are out there.I ask this becausing I am really getting into Rockabilly and swing music, and I want the hollowbody sound. Thanks in advance, Nik.

I am assuming you are looking at the gibson style semihollow basses, and not the semi hollow traditional electic style basses, here are a few other options

Washburn has a pretty cool looking one

Greg Bennet/Samick has a very nice model (I played one and enjoyed it)

Jay Turser Also makes a good looking cheap model, but I have never played it.
