who makes powered cabs

    who makes powered cabs, any info is good.

    For specific bass cabs, EBS is the only one I know.
    If we talk about subs and active PA cabs, most manufacturers do.
    Behringer, JBL, Mackie and YorkVille being the ones I've seen used on bass.

    EA has just come out with the Wizzy 12 Powered cab. 200 watt, Class D, digital powered amp and a 12" inch driver with a whizzer cone. Input?output is by a standard mic cable. It can be used with any preamp and multiple powerd cabs can be daisy chained

    iam looking for a 4x10 and a 15. is ebs the best place to look. any othere places.

    I know this is a dumb statement/question, but I wonder if you could just plug your guitar into the wizzy? I suppose if you have a good enough volume pot on your guitar to give you subtle ramp in volume?
