Who makes the best Jazz copy?

Now I know that while a lot of you may be asking what's wrong with Fender, but I already know they make a great bass. I'm wondering about the other folks, like Sadowsky and Lakland. Not just a bass with 2 jazz pickups, something that looks like a j-bass, pickguard and everything.
