    First off Im not even sure if a bass is even playing, I can hear a bass line but I cant tell if its just an acoustic guitar. And IF someone is playing bass on the track, who is it? Thx

    Larry Knechtel. He also played Organ on some of their stuff.

    If you're talking about the oh-so-famous live version in Central Park, then the bass player would be Anthony Jackson.
