hey indi86, I see youre from around the area.
    where do you usually gig?

  4. I've seen some fretless Warwicks in some Jazz combos. It seems to work well. "Sound of wood", ya know? Plus there's just something special about the fretless Warwicks.

  5. By the way, they were all Thumb's, if that makes a difference.

I have my warwick thumb NT.. I don't use it on teh jazz gigs though. The tone isn't great for a jazz setting. I do love using it for funk gigs. The tone is very bridge-pickup-y, so yeah.. You won't be able to get those really deep tones that jazz usually needs. A corvette has a greater PU spacing, so it would be better for a jazz setting than the thumb.

  7. My fretless streamer Jazzman, neck pup soloed, fingered near the neck, with labella flats.

Upright tone in an electric bass. :D
