Who says it doesn't snow in Texas?

    Actually it snows quite a bit in north Texas but we don't get it all that often here in Central and Southern Texas. Last night though we got two inches of nice, powdery snow. Here are some pics from this morning:

    Wow. I wouldn't have guessed you'd be getting stuff like that. Up in New England, it's just a typical winter though... :mad:

    We'll take some of that snow over here in Beaumont (TX)! Now there's a place you'll be hard-pressed to ever find snow (it's been nearly 20 years)...

    I've got about 5 or 6 inches in my front yard but it will all be gone in a few hours.
     
  9. thats a big snowman for 2 inches...like the pecan facial features though...hehe.
    We're getting some today up here in oklahoma... but its not cold enough to stay for long...only about 1-2" right now.

    we didn't get anything like you did...but the kids freaked out anyway---forget putting on clothes, PJs work fine--gotta touch it before it melts away! (gone by 10am)

    Road Salt, so needed, so evil to my car... :(

    I wash my car far more in the winter than the summer.

    Only problem is the fact that guns are banned at Baylor :eek:

  19. for someone who doesnt get a lot of snow thats a cool snowman you got there, it took me 8hrs to shovel my driveway,now theres some snow

    Well, I used to live in arctic China, in a province bordering Russia, so it's not like I've never seen snow before.
