Ok so everyone and there mother has seen a million SX threads.

Well besides my Valenti this has become one of my favorite basses of the last 100 or so.. I truly love this bass its fricking fantastic.

After a little TLC on the frets, a fresh paint job(Seafoam), some Fender Lace Sensors(will be Nordys when I get some cash), and a Audere 3 band drop in Pre its become a monster player.

Now that may seem like a lot for a $130 bass hahaha and it may be, but I tell you what anyone in the cleveland are wants to meet up and play her feel free to PM me and you can see what a little love does to a SX..

She is a great playing, awesome looking, killer sounding bass that I WILL NOT SELL.. I will take her to the grave..

    u.r.d. man!

Great sound, tasty playin'. I hear tell you do fine relic jobs.

I'd like to see some of your work. I looked through some of your YouTube vids but didn't see any examples of your work. Do you have a clip up that shows off some of your relic jobs or could you post some pics here?

I used to refin guitars and basses quite frequently. Never tried a relic job though. I'd be interested to see some of your handiwork.

So where's the turd? All I see is a dude playing a bass.

Having turned a dead-in-the-water Squier into an amazing bass, I no longer believe there's nothing lots of hard work can't do to make a bass amazing.

Grassroots is 311's best album. I wish I could slap and pop 1% as well as P-nut lol.

    I try. :)

Sure. Basically, the "Squier" part of this bass is the body at this point.

New neck (old one was bowed from Day 1... just got twisted WORSE AND WORSE every passing year)
New pup (Old one somehow just failed on me)
Hipshot Ultralite Tuners + Hipshot X-tender
    Dunlop straplocks
    Refin'd by Pat Wilkins
    Badass II
White Pearl pickguard from Warmoth, has no holes for vol/tone controls because...
EMG P pickup wired straight to output

And set up after being assembled by Eric's Guitar Shop in Van Nuys, California. The absolute BEST place to get any work done ever, as far as I care.

I put a lot of money into this bass, but it came out as being a bass I'd rival against any other. For me, it just works. Instruments costing a lot more have passed through my hands, this one stays. And it isn't love for my first bass (I have no sentiments when it comes to my instruments... any bass would work) or any honeymoon period... I've had it now for a couple of months, and it just flat out slays tone/output wise and feelwise.
