I recently discovered JHS and he was a funk machine. The bassist(s?) truly stood out. Who was his main bassist?
johnny williams, which is looked up and he goes by john b williams now. warwick endorser. love the stuff he did on JHS work, great bass stuff. i kinda wonder what bass he used, fender jazz or precision, but i guess we will never know.
